flush mt rod holder

anybody have any experience installing flush mount rod holders in the gunwales? Any cables in the way in the run on a stingray 220dr?

if your not sure or if you cant get your hands up there to feel around than dont drill,,, most of the gunwales will have enough glass to hold a rod holder securley with the supplied screws and use a good silicone sealer ,, i like mine on my hand rail i use a wing nut for removal and storrage
