Hey to all again. Sadly I must inform all of you that the boat in my last post is not going to be restored. I can't get it from the owner due to paperwork issues. I would be leagly "Stealing the boat " and anything I do to it would be my loss. So, Bye Bye to that one. Another question for all of you is, If someone removes flotation foam from a boat, must it be reinstalled in order for it to be sold, or doesn't it matter. My Dad is asking, and I wanted to get your info on this much debated topic. I have bought and sold boats that have had the foam modified, or completly removed and it didnt matter to me. Just curious what the "official" word is on it. Thanks again. Dave

Re: Flotation Foam ???????

as far as i know it is not a problem. just always use the terms. " the buyer has inspected, and accepts the boat in as is condition. no warrany implied, or given." has saved me a lot of hassle later.
