Hi everyone, I'm just wondering if there are any com****** out there who sell either pre-formed fiberglass, or pre-cut wooden, flooring kits for older boats. I've got a 1986 Sea Ray Seville ll 18' Bowrider which needs a new floor and new upholstery. Anyone know of any such stuff out there? Thanks in advance, and happy boating!
Tony

Re: flooring replacement?

On the flooring, it will require some cutting, fitting and glassing. A good carpenter can do the job. I used the opertunity that my soft deck presented, to make a hatch in place of the section, cutting it out stringer-to-stringer,and installing
it with a stainless hinge.
This allowed for extra stowage in the bilge, and is where I keep my spare prop, shear + cotter pins, impeller and
tools.
All you really need is the tools, wood, and glass to do it.
Tools being screwdriver,sabre saw,tape measure.
If your decking is carpetted (mine was), you'll need enough carpet to cover the "hatch". Mine doesn't match perfectly, but you really have to look for it.
An auto apholstery shop can do a beautiful job on the seats. I'm still waiting for the greenage to do mine,as they need it too.
