floating dockhouse

We had one years ago on the north part of lake travis. Only accesable by boat. It was a blast. Had a large area cut out of the floor to fish threw. Also had stove ecectric power, water pump ect. The dock was destroyed by a storm about four years ago. Would like to build anouther. And looking for info on building a floating dockhouse.
Has anyone built one or shoped for one??

I have seen an old ad on the web for a Sears brand floating cabin. Not the same, but basically the same principle...a floating deck with some amenities. I'll see if I can find it and email it to you. Might want to check local regs on this, specially if you plan to do this on a so-called public lake...too many yuppies with too much time often spoil the brew for the rest of us, far too often the case in overrun Tejas right now. You never know when some council has rules/regs against just about anything.

i think the simplest thing to do is buy and old large poontoon boat, and rebuild it.
