Recent rebuild of the carbs, used sierra kit.

Last weekend the float valve stuck shut, under closer inspection I noticed the tips are rubber, a few threads on this site have reported similar problems with the rubber-tipped valves sticking in the seat. Can anyone verify if the BRP part is rubber tipped or not?? I do not want to spend ~7 bucks per carb for something I already have!! Thanks

Look again I also thought they were something different,After scraping on one it wasn't rubber,Don't know what it was but scrapping on it did nothing. The seat it fits into up the hole is a rubber seat, and it has to be seated correctly, it has a up and down side,It is small and at times troublesome to get in correctly

Check with napa, ebay, boats.net, ask about the float needles before you order.
