Float switch wiring.

I've done a search here and still can't find the procedure.
I want to attach a float switch to my bilge pump. Attwood pump with only two wires. Pump is activated now by an on/off switch at the helm. I want to retain that feature but still have the float switch activate the pump. Any diagram would be helpful. Thanks

You just need to tee off from the positive wire of the pump through the float switch and trough a fuse to the battery.

This way, either switch turns on the pump.
