Here's the thing about craigslist. As far as I know, they never respond to inquiries or provide any explanation about why an ad was flagged.
I have an ad running for a new and unused item that I've had up for quite a while, renewing every few days or when I think of it, following the rules and completely legitimate. I renewed it yesterday, and this morning it had been flagged and removed.
I suspect a person who has been after me to sell it to them for a price that I consider way too low, and I've responded to their inquiries politely and said I thought I was asking a fair price. Or a person who recently wanted me to ship it to them - I declined, simply because I don't want to go to the trouble and it's too bulky to send easily.
Anyway, I googled "flagging on craigslist" and came up with this interesting short article. So if you are having good ads flagged....good luck!!
