You may go to:
Shop.evinrude.com
and view the parts catalog (accessories) and find what you need, or simply visit a junkyard and search. In addition to starter, bracket and solenoid, you will need a geared flywheel, charge coil and rectifier. It might perhaps be cheaper to source a wrecked engine from E-Bay??

If so you only need the starter with bracket, starter relay and the rectifier. The 3-pin socket is an AC intended for lightning (bulbs) only. However you may connect the 3 yellow wires to a rectifier and get DC for charging.

That is normally in the remote controls, however the old 35 even had one on a bracket on the engine itself operated by the shift lever system.

it wont start if its in gear when you pull the rope start but if i turn the key i dont want the starter to mesh with the flywheel if its in gear it will kill the gears

A lot o posts, get a bit confused here.
The last one first:
The manual system that prevents you from pulling the starter when in gear, block the manual starter and not the flywheel. It will then be no damage to the gears, but the boat might take off.
You may make a bracket either on engine or in the remote, with a micro switch that is connected into the red/yellow circuit to the starter solenoid. When in neutral, switch is shorted and starter operates.
If you put the switch on the engine, all cabling will be on the engine. If you prefer to arrange something in the remote, you may have to pull cables between the key switch and the remote. I little McGywer spirit and you will figure it out.

Usually it vents when you connect the hose. You may note a little pin in the connector on the tank.
The hose connector pushes in the pin and opens the vent.
