I am the new owner of a 1903 CC the year make 2000. I am not sure about how the fish well pump works.. The control dash has a switch which controls the fish well pump. Are the fish wells the two storage boxes located in the rear floor on both sides of the boat. When I look into the two boxes all I see is a drain hole. does water also enter the boxes thru this hole when the pump is turned on? Or is the used to drain the boxes of water? Help.... Please explain how the fish well works.

I am not geting the fish well confused with the bait well located under the two seats....

Thanks

Re: fish well pump question

The fishwell pumps are used to pump water out of the fishwells, not pump water into them. Usually prior to launching.:D

Most people use crushed ice in the fishwells to keep your catch fresh, and drain off the water once the ice melts.

The livewell is where you keep your lie bait.;)
