Have you tried turning the ff on with the boat in the water? I'm sure someone will post something more helpful.

Welcome to the board, Missdawglady!!!

Re: FISH FINDER

MISSDAWGLADY
First please turn off caps. No need to yell. If it were my unit I would go to the menu and restore the default settings. Then I would turn up the sensitivy until I got lots of false returns. At that point you should see bottom and fish if there are any. Lots of settings can cause your problem so just best to start with the factory settings.

Re: FISH FINDER

Depending on the age of the unit I've had to scrub the bottom of the transducer with a brillo pad to get good readings.
