First post, trim unit ?

Hello all. This is my first post but I've been lurking for a while and really enjoy this forum.
I have a 99 Yamaha C90TLRX that was on a stand inside for the winter. I installed it on the boat yesterday and the first time I trimmed it up the seals around the piston started leaking. My questions 1. How difficult is it to replace the seals and would it be ok to just replace the trim dust seal? 2. Where can I find the socket (YB -6175-1A/90890-6548) that removes the end cap? 3. Is there a rebuild kit for these units?. I still might have to take this to Wanchese to Rodbolt but would rather do it myself. Any help/advice appreciated.

trim ram or tilt ram leaking.
you cant see the piston.
that unit uses the dust wiper on the trim ram for just that.
it holds no pressure.
if the trim rams are leaking either the ram is scarred or the ram piston oring is leaking and possibly the cyl bore is scuffed.

The trim rams are leaking. Is there a kit to rebuild this unit? If so are there any nuances the I need to be aware of in the rebuild?

Thanks for the reply.

I guess Rodbolt is too busy for a friend of Hope's.
