Hopefully you stick around this week for the potential blizzard... ❄🌬☃️
Looks like we will be here this week and next week . My son and niece are flying up on Thursday and we plan on heading back the end of next week .. I’m sure I’ll be ready ..

Maybe you'll get to go again. Although, looks like the storm is mainly going south of you. My plow is at the ready....❄❄❄

First plane ride was 1963 (ish) Boston -> Philadelphia . . . it was a 707 going and a prop-plane coming back.

I distinctly remember the food service . . . a 3-course meal delivered on a custom made serving tray . . . now-a-days you'd have to go to The Capital Grill to get comparable service :LOL:

While living in the frozen Tundra of Wisconsin most of my life. I do appreciate the beauty of a fresh snow fall.......from my computer screen......where its warm.....

first plane ride was to San Diego back in the 90's. When there still was food service. I distinctly remember looking at the line of overhead compartments upon takeoff and realized that a plane is just an over-sized beer can. remember the line of compartments twisting right and left as the plane was throttled up and the wheels came off the ground.

Sphelps, glad you are enjoying your first plane ride, snow, and grandchild! The grand babies are the BEST! My first plane ride was Harrisburg to Orlando in mid 60’s during winter. About the only thing I remember is that an older brother refused to get off the plane in Orlando without his winter coat and earmuffs!

Oh, snow is pretty awesome also! Sure have missed it this winter!

I think you should move up there and enjoy everything that winter has to offer year after year after.......

My first ride in a plane was a trip to Sweden after I graduated from HS....

Hey while you’re in the snow belt you ought to get ya a snowmobile and go for a ride. It’s a ton of fun, nothing you’ll ever experience in Florida. Heck it’s a rarity in Pennsylvania at this point.

Ain't that the truth! Even the Laurel Highlands have been pretty scant on snow this year.
That's my fault. For the first time ever in late Fall when it was still t-shirt weather I put the chains on my skidsteer rather than wait until I was knee deep in snow. Result, it is now late February and I haven't had to plow my lane once.
