Firing order?

I have a 2009 Mercury 30hp. 4stroke. I changed the spark plugs and I might have put the plug wires back on wrong. Can someone tell me how they go? It's a 3 cylinder inline. Thanks

Probably 123 like the 2 stroker 3s. Not enough cylinders to play games like 162435-162435........

Pull the plugs and turn the crank in the direction it normally turns when running. Get #1 at TDC and roll it around watching 2 and 3. If 2 comes up next then 3 you have your 123....1 is on top.

I have a 2009 Mercury 30hp 4 stroke 3 cyl. How can I tell if the throttle is opening all the way? Or what position should it be in? Thanks.

Don't know what your throttle and timing advance cam looks like but if the grip is all the way in the "fast" direction,the carb throttle plate should be fully open. It will look like the choke plate when it's fully open.

Sorry for the ignorance...should've seen/observed that as an '09 it would be injected. Might be better to open a new topic for that question.
