Firing on 1 cyl. What else could it be???

1980 2 cyl. merc 40 hp. changed out the trigger, stator, rectifier, switchbox, coils. It has 145 lbs. of compression on both cyl. but it still has no spark from the switchbox to coil #2 Is there anything else that would prohibit spark?

have you checked your distributor?

Turned out that the coil was bad and the mercury switch was also bad.
