Finally here again!

Yep, we are over the hump and the days are going to get longer again. When winter begins, it always puts a smile on my face. Now to do some serious thinking about what needs done to my boat.

I'll send pics guys <br /><br />It's supposed to be 70 tomorrow and Saturday. Shorts again on Christmas. Not quite the same as my childhood memories of all that snow, but there is nothing wrong with going for a little boat ride or fishing after dinner.

What Bob said. Unless you are lucky enough to have a heated barn, which of course I don't. I have to spend the next 3 months planning what I'll be doing in April and gathering parts.

Supose to get up to45 degrees today,i havent been on the water in 3 weeks im going crazy,maybe ill be able to get out thisweekend.i feel bad for you norhtern boys,whats snow?

The last year I lived in the north it got down to 45 below zero and never rose above 35 below for the entire month of February.<br /><br />So.........I gloat a little, and I just checked the 10 day forecast and its not supposed to get out of the 60's.<br /><br />

It was 80 here yesterday . . . They said warmest in the country. Last week we had our first serious cold snap. Barely made 60 during the day and in the 40s overnight. Brrrrrr. Sorry couldn't help it

Last week at Disney it was mid 60's during the day, cloudy and showers and in the 40's at night, BURRRRRRR!!!! Thought it would have been humid and hotttttttt!!!!!!<br /><br />will be in Vegas in Feb. and I'm sure it will be chilly there also!!!!!

it was -5F here the other day......which is okay with me. While it must be nice to have it that warm LF, I think being that ALL my christmas' have been up here with snow and cold, it just doesnt seem like Christmas without it.

When it snows here if it snows everthing shutsdown and the grocery stores are hit like nuclear bomb went off,Needless to say most people here dont know how to drive in the snow and its pretty funny just to sit on the boulvard and watch the expressions on there face when they go sliding the the red lights

Darn you Fly Rod!! You were near and didn't check in? Yes, last week was cold for us. We don't really ever do humid and hot, that's the Florida gig, but not here. Our winters are crisp, but never cold.<br /><br />I have seen (and touched) snow in Vegas in March, but it can be decent in Feb too. BTW, if you have never been, you need to drive out to Hoover . . .
