Filler/vent screw

I want to apply some air pressure to test the lower unit of my 1987 60hp ,I have made up a test rig to put in a regulated pressure but i need to find out the thread size of the filler/vent plug so I can make up an adaptor to suit. Im guessing its UNC ?

One other question , which way must the impeller be twisted into the housing , clockwise with the blades bending from right to left ar vice versa or does it not realy matter ?

If you buy the pump for filling the LU with lube you should be able to use the hose and fitting for your pressure tester and I think that you should only use 4 psi. pressure. The impeller goes into the waterpump with the vanes following the engine rotation (clockwise).
