That's a good question, I would like to know that also, hopefully someone will reply. I would love to be able to hook up to my Ficht and see what it's doing on the water and be able to diagnose a problem if I ever have one. Good luck.
Dealer. If you can make a pc cable , you could probley make the interface cable. The end that connects to the engine has 3 wires, and the connector<br /> that looks like the female connector on the engine panel tilt switch. If you cant locate one, I should be able to find you one.
You can order the latest version of the software thru your local dealer p/n 5005058. You'll also need a user guide p/n 350281. The software MUST be run in a DOS environment, if run on the windows operating system in a "DOS-window" it may become unstable. Also it does not support USB, your computer must have RS-232 ports.<br /><br />Cable p/n 437955 $50 - unless you can find the Bass & Walleye Boats Magazine article that explains how to make one.
