Wow, it's a challenge for sure.
If there is going to be a descent into a long back & forth discussion of the how's & why's of a particular footwear choice, my money's on PMC.
But I like scrappy, perpetual motion too: so....
Jas: Beware! Lawyers can be sneaky little sharks, be on the look out for briefs thrown in your face as a barrier to impede you. Of both the running nylon variety, and large tome's of loose-leaf paper. Have a qualified 3rd party review all documents & fine print. There will probably be a codicil, so check all filings submitted for review carefully for unannounced changes in the rules, regulations & substantiation of completion of the individual requirements of the challenge.
PMC: 3 words: Rabbit and tortoise....... I think the runner's high will kick in for you both, but leaving a little extra in the reserve tank will sustain you & carry you through for the win! Jas's high octane, jack rabbit leap out in front will likely result in a pulled hammy. Enough to hamper his efforts, but won't leave any lasting or permanent affects.
I clearly have a foot in both camps. I think I will hold off on picking a thoroughbred for now, see how the week starts......
