hello all. You would have thought i would have learned. i having been reading these forums for about a month now. replacing floor in bass boat and stringers. Had to cut that old stuff out. Used a circular saw and that was great. used a sawzaw and put a hole in the hull. length is about an inch and width is the size of a blade. What is the best way to repair this. i have access to the inside of the hull and outside.

hole is not on the load part of the hull.
can't i use just epoxy, feather it in and then sand?

do i need to use cloth or mat with the epoxy?

thanks.

Re: fiberglass repair

While you're in the process of reinstalling the stringers,+ bulkheads,.....
You'll be using a fairing putty mix to bed the new wood,........

Just Smooge in a finger full of fairing mix, into the extra Hole, at that time,...........

It'll be like it Never Happened............ ;)
