Totally green on glass work here. Looked through post and stickies but did not see much stuff like what I have. I have two sections of encapsulated wood where the wood inside has broken down. These are mounting points and need to be pretty strong. The glass on the exterior (underneath) is fine. My thought are to cut out the tops, leave the sides, install new wood then glass it with several layers of resin mat, the wood is about 3/4 thick. I’m probably going to use a glass kit bought at the auto store, because I only have two small areas to do. unless that’s a bad idea. Any thoughts, suggestions welcome thanks in advance
