I run into this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWemRvI3uns

I am curious as to what it would take.

I have never done this before, but I do have experience doing manual work and working with wood, paint, electrical and my car.

For those who already did this, I would welcome your views and experiences.

Thank you,

Read a few restoration threads and you'll get a very good idea what's involved. It's a lot of work, but it can be quite rewarding, too.

First off gi4300 :welcome: aboard. We like to have new members here on iboats...

There are tons of such boat refurbishing threads on here to read and see how it is truly accomplished. Like JA SinIL2006 stated, it is a lot of work, but there are so many folks on the forums that can guide you through every aspect of it. All you have to do is pick out the boat you like, and have plenty of time and money and you can rebuild one yourself. JMHO

Welcome aboard,

Intestinal fortitude, that's what it takes. Read through the many threads here and post some pictures of your boat and the problem areas. That way you will get specific advise and guidance.
