This winter is dragging and doesn't ever seem like going to end! I did buy some items from Iboats yesterday to help me through it

The abnormally cold winter we have been having finally ends tomorrow. Then back to normal. Above freezing at night and 50's to 60's during the day. Yippee!!

Okay folks I guess I'm to blame about the snow and freezing weather we are experiencing in the southeast. See I had most everything ready to prime and paint my refurbished boat trailer and when I purchased the actual primer and hardener, blamo we get snow. I'm so sorry... It is sort of like washing your car and it rains... All work on my project boat has come to a halt... :blue:

I fired up my kerosene cannon heater and warmed up my garage last night just so I could get out of the house. Cleaned and detailed my snowmobile, I blew the clutch out and it's in repair mode for 1-2 weeks. Both boats are sleeping under well over a foot of white stuff. Michigan winters are long, so we must have some winter project's like snowmobiles(engines baby) to get us through the non-boating periods. Took about two hours to thaw the sled out, and remove all the ice build up from the last ride.

We have been in the 70's and 80's since mid December. Walked outside at 10PM the other night and it was 68?. I would like to see our winter actually start. Been 20? over normal so far.

MT is sending his Arctic blast our way, 10 inches expected in the 24 hours...OH THE HORROR LOL....BTDT rather have a big dump then the 1-2" irritations that are all to common...

Good for me though My truck is chomping at the bit, ready to go!!
I put 200 miles on the Harley Saturday.....

It is 25* today. Nice change from the below freezing temps we have had the past week. I warmed up the battery in the '51 Chevy and took it for a spin ( 6v so it does not start well with a cold battery ). Not a boat, but it'll have to do for a few months

Winter is over in 4 months. At least here.
By the end of May the ice will be breaking up and in mid June we will be fishing.

Just so you know, 25* is still below freezing.

You need to thaw out.
