Fast Strike 150 Will Not Rev Over 2500 (possible SLOW mode)

Yes, If you can disconnect the black/yellow and black/orange, the motor's spark should not be affected by SLOW, shift interrupt or the ign key.

Fuel restriction wiring looks to be tan/orange and black. I expect the fuel restriction sensor (vacuum switch)to be near the fuel bracket, on the front of the motor.

Following closely, as I am experiencing almost the same problem, except about 3500 RPM's is max for me.(94 150 Fast strike) I think it's mad because I don't use it as much as I used too!

Speakrdude - What have you checked or tried on your motor? Have you had any shops take a look? If so what was there diagnosis?
