Tach and other gauges get their power from the key switch. Should be easy to follow the purple wires from the gauges to the problem

What "problem" am I looking for?

Replaced tach and everything worked. Why I wasn't getting any volts from multimeter has not been figured out... the only thing I can figure is that the grounds are crossed somewhere? But then I would be getting the little negative sign on my multi meter. Right? And everything would be blowing fuses?

Idling out of winterization at only about 175 -200 rpms.. throttled up sound much better so I'm going to run this tank out on Friday and see what it does after that spark plugs look brand new so hoping it's just the fuel.

tightened carb screw to about 800 RPM's is this about where it should be? Its a 3.0 Volvo Penta engine.
