Fairing compound question

The next adventure begin's 1987 Mirage cuddy...I need a good fairing compound here...mostly scratches but some wave in the hull. I am looking for something that wont fall off in a few yrs there will be lots of prep and paint i dont relish going back over again in a few yrs...any good types of fairling out there any can recomend

Making your own is the best way IMHO. That way you get the consistency you want, and the working time you want. Easy to do... just use resin and micro balloons and catalyze @ 1 to 1.5%. Mix to the consistency you want Runny or Thick. The more Catalyst you add the faster it will set up. Sand with 60 grit and wash down with acetone so it will have plenty of "Bite" and you'll be fine.

If you don't wanna do that then I'd buy some of this.
