F115 No Start

2000 115 4Stroke Yammy (fuel injected). will fire and idle fine when trimmed up but as soon as i trim it down into the water it dies and wont start till i trim it up again. it will idle when the water pickups are just barely in the water but any lower it quits. this is a new one for me.

any ideas would be appreciated

might be the trim sensor, but that is a guess
