f 225 yamaha 2004

Hi all I was wondering if anyone knows a model after market high pressure fuel pump for a f225 yam .

I am not near motor ( Darwin) I am only trying to help my son out over the phone.

I have used a 38 mm suzzi vitara ($90 )fuel pump on a df 140 ($800) and it works fine.

is he sure positive the High pressure pump is bad and why ?
lots of things can be happening.

no fuel pressure and a belly full of water wet season in Darwin .

Rodbolt is correct in asking about the trouble shooting that has been done. There are many things that be happening to cause no fuel pressure. You can post all the necessary info like the 1st post ask for or search the forums for your problem or answer.

ok back from Darwin i can now see why there was not much response as you can buy high pressure pumps at a reasonable price in the USA $250 . In OZ I was quoted $1200 FOR Gen yammy part .But the 38 mm fuel pump from a Suzuki vitara is that same thing $205.

Also does any one know where i can get a hold of a yamaha diagnostic kit cable and CD ?

Thanks for all that replies a have found one $362 cheaper than hauling boat out and dragging it 200 clicks to have it looked at
