Yes, my truck has 207K miles. . . Just hoping to get some more out of it. I mostly use it for towing the boat, but it does get the call of duty for other stuff. I've only put about 1,500 miles on it in the past 2 years.

Here is a picture of the turbo charger and the wastegate lever/pivot shown at the base.

Big difference in the way that motor pulls now eh ...At least you know how to service them now...compressor is a mechanics trick exposed works on other components also. The oil question was just a joke because theres so many debates about the two.

Man, all this ford bashing. Jealous of that fix. My mini is/(was?) throwing insufficient boost pressure codes. Wastegate and diverter valve (as well as the turbo itself) are common culprits. To inspect the wastegate, I need to remove the exhaust and cat (that should be fun). If it needs replaced...the whole turbo needs replaced. No separate part sold. To replace the turbo, the car needs to be put in "service mode" (basically remove the front clip of the car), coolant system removed, intake removed...oh, and $2k for the new turbo. Today though I got the boost up to 17 psi and climbing (should maybe go a bit higher) before I hit triple digits and decided that was fast enough...so IDK.
