exhaust problems 25 hp evinrude?

hello all. love this site. recently had boat out on the lake for a few hours. i noticed when i got home there is a large black oily streak across transom and across the motor. i think it is coming from what i presume is the exhaust? is this normal? motor is a 1989 evinrude 25. i have been running it 100/1. any help would be appreciated. this is the 2nd time i have had this motor out. i bought it from a friend and need to pay balance. should i be concerned?

I think a picture would help. Run the motor on 50:1. There's probably a 100:1 sticker on the motor, right? OMC later change the fuel requirement back to 50:1.
