Exhaust "Muffled"

I have a 06 Q4S. Mechanical problem surfaced this season. One day placed boat in water all was well. Sat in the water overnight and the next day took her out and noticed an excessive exhuast noise. Sounded like a glasspack. No power loss all gauges are fine. (oil pressure and temp A OK)

This past weekend I searched for exhaust leaks. NONE. Replaced the plugs. The noise is being emitted from the discharge area of where the water is exiting the the engine.

PLease send me some good, easy fix news.
