Its a 1972 Sea Ray w/ a Merc 888 (Ford 302).
I separated the exhaust bellows from the outer housing, so I could pull it down and inspect it away from the drive shaft bellows.... Its looks fine.
Strangely, the replacement exhaust bellow is short and doesn't connect to the transome,..... i guess this is fine.
Should i bother with mine leaking exhaust if the seal is apparently not critical?
I don't want to harm the drive shaft bellows.
Thanks
