Hello All, I am new here and a new boat owner. I am currently restoring a 1987 Invader with a 2.3L OMC Sterndrive. I've had it running but noticed my exhaust bellows has a huge split in the rubber. I ordered a new one but now I am wondering how I go about replacing this part? Do I have to remove the drive to access the retainer spring clip? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

I replaced the bellows on my 2.3 and they are made with slits in them.

They have been like this since like the second year of production; the idea with the slits is to reduce back pressure at idle when in the water.
