Exhaust Bellow

Not sure if it fell off or was never installed but mine is gone! There is supposed to be a one just below the u joint bellow Right? Can this situation cause any damage?

Yes the exhaust bellow is just below the u joint bellows. Absolutely no issue if it it’s torn or not there. It is open to the water at the propeller. Might be a little louder exhaust note that’s all.

Will be a bit louder if removed. Most Bravos use the tube, not a bellows. Works on the Alphas, too.

Being an older engine and not as clean burning as the newer ones, you will probably notice some exhaust soot or coloration deposits on the transom / drive. But that is easy to clean off. Just a PITA.

on the other hand, if the rubber was rotten, your other two bellows are probably needing changing as well.
