Exhaust bellow

Can any one tell me if its ok to patch the exhaust bellow with rtv sealant, The exhaust bellow on my 1973 omc 165 hp is cracked at top where hose clamp is and a little water is coming out the rest of it is in great shape, any ideas? I cant find any after market ones,original cost about 150-210$$$$.Any help would be great

$150 to 210 for an exhaust bellows ? Sounds like junk.

Hot patch never know till you try, they told me couldn't patch something (I'm not going to say what) but I did it anyhow and it's still holding three years later, another place will breech before my patch. I used a hot patch.
I'm not saying you can do it because I don't know what your piece looks like or what type of material it is.
