exact year manual needed?

I have a 1985 Evinrude 140hp outbaord and have been looking for a rude' repair manual. I have the Seloc but not too impressed as it covers too many models. I have not come across any 85 repairs but have found several 86 models....so far the only difference I am seeing in the 2 years is that in 86 the vro system had warning buzzers for failure......are there more differences I am not seeing and would the 86 manual cover all the basic outboard information needed for my 85 ? thanks
