Where do you buy wire to match the colors that are on the motor of a 1992 2 stroke evinrude, thanksl

You can find wire in many colors and sizes at auto parts, hardware and marine supply stores.
If all else fails colored tape on the ends of wire can identify them.

Make sure the wire is marine rated (tinned) and the proper gauge (AWG) as well

As someone who builds and supports electronics in the field…..tape sucks, big time. Dries out and falls off with time.

Highly recommend labeling with colored shrink markers.

We use these, but others are avaiable

A number of cable manufacturers are switching from colored to numbering as a means to identify the individual wires in the cable.

Numbering is manageable on the bench but a pita for technicians trying to troubleshoot in the field. These work like a charm
