I did run the engine with the old bowl sealed together, that didnt hold for long but it prooved to me that the engine runs well and look forward to having it back on the boat soon.
Got the new float bowl, no additional cost to cross the border into canada yay! put the carb back together and everything fits nice.
In the meantime Ive pulled the dash, all controls and seatbacks out of the boat and starting sanding & stripping and getting ready for paint.She probably wont see the water this year but it'll be nice when its all done for spring. my 14' aluminum runabout made by Aluminum goods ltd. (1960)
