Evinrude overhaul tuning concerns

Had VRO issue and in the process of rebuilding my 96 60hp Evinrude. Went .020 over on the pistons. Everything has came apart very nice and looks great internally. My concern is carb tuning afterwards. I'm very concerned that the motor is going to run lean due to the oversized pistons. All my experience comes from automotive and this is the first 2 stroke I've ever had apart. If I bored a small block out .020 I'd have to make a jet change to increase fuel, but a few people I've asked say that's not the case with this 3 cylinder. My mind can't seem to agree with them. Can someone please help educate me on this?? Thanks in advance for your posts!

Put the motor together and go play. You're increasing the displacement minimally at best. Not enough to worry about. You did find out why you had to punch it out in the first place, yes? If you don't fix the underlying issue, you'll be rebuilding it again.

2 schools of thought #1 no you don't have to change them. #2 is change the high speed jet 1 size larger because of E-10. I have seen both ways run and neither had problems. Did you do the cooling mod to the #2 cylinder.

VRO got some water in it. Removing the VRO and mixing the gas. I have looked a few times for the service bulletin on the cooling for cylinder two. Could you tell me where I could find it? Thanks for the help!

I run only non-ethanol gas. So anal I pump three gallons in my tow vehicle first to get the regular gas out of the hose.

I would call a dealer and see if they have it. It involves drilling a hole in the water jacket.

I would ditch the VRO. Don't wait. Just asking for expensive trouble. Disable it and run premix. Then you know what you've got and you can relax during your cruise.
Sorry,
J
