Evinrude Lower Unit compatibility

I have what I think is a early 90's 120hp V4 looper. My lower unit has 2 1 inch groves on both sides of the lower unit above the tail fin above the prop. I'm wondering if a lower unit with the same size prop shaft with the 6 holes above the tail fin on both sides will bolt up? I have a guy that has a whole engine and lower unit for sale for $150. Its a 88, 85hp Evinrude. Just trying to see if this lower unit as well as the starter will work on my engine. Thanks ahead of time!

Check the model number as didn't make a 85hp in 1988....
