Evinrude ficht 200

Hello all,<br />I am thinking about purchasing a 1999 Ranger boat with an Evinrude ficht 200 on it. I have read on some forums that this motor has had some troubles and also some recalls. Would need the model number to comment, Fish.<br /><br />If it is a '99, check the update/upgrade history. No history, pass.<br /><br />Complete update to Bombardier specs, worth considering.

Fish - Go to the red search at the top of the page & enter "FICHT" as a search arguement. More there than you will care to read on these motors.

Man this sucks! That Ranger is in great shape. I would hate to buy the boat and spend all of my fishing money on the motor!! I will check with the dealer and see if the moter has been updated with all of the fixes.
