Evinrude ETEC 200 not kicking into gear

I have a 200 Evinrude ETEC. It will not kick into gear in either forward or reverse. When I engage the throttle forward or reverse in just revs up as if it were in neutral. Engine sounds fine. No sensors or alarms. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

1) Control box problem
2) Shifter Cable broken
3) Cable came loose from bracket under cowling
4) Driveshaft broken at pinion gear
5) Hub bad in prop if using plastic hub or aftermarket prop

... and get yourself an OEM shop manual if you plan to do anything serious. What model year and is it still under warranty? If yes, let a dealer mess with it.
