tami back then there were not many if any package boats. it usually depended on what brand motors the dealer sold, and brand boats. you could actually buy the boat at one dealer and take to another for the motor. something almost impossible to do today. you had the choice of what you wanted to spend your money on. today if you want a boat built by one of the 27 Brunswick manufacturers, you're going to get a mercury motor.
