Evinrude Alarm

I have an 98 90hp evinrude and I unhooked the vro unit and now I have an alarm.Mixing 50to1.Any HELP

Did you unplug the four wire harness from the vro pump to its amphenol connector in the engine compartment?How about the two wires from the oil reservoir to their connectors in the engine compartment?

Yes I unpluged the two wires BUT I didn't unplug the four wires. Whats the plug look like ? Theres a plug with 5 wires. And where mite it be?

Follow the wire harness from the vro pump to the connector.It should be on the left side of the engine compartment as viewed from the rear of engine but not real sure on your v-4.Look for a connector about three inches long and 3/4 inch diameter with a metal clip retaining the two halves.
