I have recently acquired a Evinrude 9.9hp outboard the model number is 108B62M and the serial number is B16463. Does anyone have any idea what year this engine is? Also, what is the correct fuel mix?
Neither of those numbers computes in my reference, GM. Take another look.<br /><br />If it is truly an Evinrude 9.9HP the fuel mix is 50:1.<br /><br />Good luck.
GM...Is this a real old motor? Try looking at the 25 cent size soft plug in the upper rear RH side of the block. The model and year are stamped in this soft plug also. I agree with JB. Your model number doesn't quite work out. Good luck. Let the forum know if you find something.
