I'm trying to get the model # and year of my 70 hp Evinrude. As I'm getting ready to rebuild this engine for a winter project.<br />I want to purchase a OEM service and parts manual for this engine. <br /> <br />I only have the S/N :C7169366 that is on the frost plug.<br /><br />Checked everywhere on motor for the model # and year,still no luck. However from the head gasket p/n. I beleive that the year is between 1977 to 1985. The engine color is light blue almost grey. The engine cover is the same color with Evinrude written on the side in a dark Navy Blue Outline. It also has three (3) small stripes around the cover. Top - Red, middle - White , bottom - Blue. <br />I also included all the P/N that I could find on engine. Maybe this is going to help. Thanks for any help that you can give.
