evinrude 70hp TILT/TRIM......FUSE?

Is there a fuse for the elec tilt/trim on a 1991 Evinrude 70 VRO?> We had a small elec short on the t/t wiring and with that corrected the tilt trim will not work is there a fuse on this line? <br /><br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Donna from: www.sledbabes.com

Yes there is. It will be near or on the relay board. It might be a circuit breaker,or a plug-in fuse. But most do have additional circuit protection on the high current side,so as not to wipe out the charging circuit during a short,and of course, to prevent fire.
