I recently purchased a really old looking Evinrude 6hp, however it does run really good.Although I would like to find out how old it actually is. Any clues on where i can find a model and/or serial number.

Should be located on the transom bracket or on a welsh plug on the motor. Shiny plug about the size of a quarter.

Those are good motors they are a little touchy on the temperature though
