evinrude 6 hp impeller replacement

i have a 71 evinrude 6 horse fisherman. it stopped pumping water. i have never replaced an impeller before. is it hard to do? What are the steps and precautions and tricks to doing it? thanks

Please note that many of the original water pumps were replaced with # 763758 because the original pump did not work very well. You need the impeller that goes with your particular pump. Pump #0763758 requires OEM part #0763735 http://www.iboats.com/mall/partfind...gd_poid=109127&gd_row=12&**********=901677841.
