evinrude 50hp wiring diagram

Hi does anybody have a wiring diagram for an evinrude 50hp.
The problem we have is won't rev over 2000rpm.

what would wiring have to do with the rpms? have you check spark, when was the carb last cleaned and rebuilt, what is your compression. what year and model #? the 50 hp has been built for 50 years.

heres a link---its for a '96 v6---but mine is a '79 johnson 115 (v4) and the only thing i noticed that was different was the trim.......mine has the old solenoid instead of relays.

sounds like you have dropped a cyl or are in "slow" mode.

spark good on both cyls?
