Evinrude 25 hp date id

Numbers on plate are 25928 and 25216 Icant tell which is the ser# becuase of wear but would like to know the year Thanks

Can't find either of those numbers listed. Can you find the number that is stamped into a small round freeze plug that is located on the engine block?

25920 25216 may be the 8 was a 0 I guess its a 55?
